Your liver is constantly working away in the background, detoxifying all the harmful substances that are part of every day life; chemicals in your food, air and water, and medications to name a few....

 

Here are 3 tips to give your liver some love and attention:

 

Treat your liver to a home spa and bathe in 3-4 cups of Epsom Salts. Rich in magnesium, the salts help draw out acids and toxins from the body, thereby taking the pressure off the liver.

 

Turmeric is a great food for the liver. It is a powerful antioxidant. Try making some turmeric rice - add 3/4grams of turmeric, chilli powder, sea salt to a bowl of cooked rice.

 

Give your liver a lovely cleanse with this delicious cleansing juice - combine the juice of 2 carrots, a handful of watercress, and a quarter of a red pepper. Full of antioxidants to protect the liver it is great first thing in the morning as the peppery taste of the watercress will wake you up!
